ExCom - Roles and Responsibilities
1. President - Leads the excom members and guides club members, responsible for opening and closing the meeting and motivating members!
2. VP Education - The VPE is responsible for organizing the meetings and helping club members achieve their communication and leadership goals. VPE is responsible for preparing and sending out the agenda for every meeting. VPE will be working with MS Word to publish the meeting agenda.
3. VP Membership - The VPM is responsible for welcoming guests at the meeting as well as answering any questions that the guests may have. The VPM is expected to keep in touch with all members and ensure that they’re actively participating in the meetings.
4. VP Public Relations - The VP PR is responsible for public relations for the club including taking photos at the meeting, publishing newsletters and updating website. VP PR will work with photos, social media app, MS Word or MS Publisher and simple web pages on wix.com.
5. Secretary - The secretary is responsible for writing meeting minutes at every meeting and sending them out. Responsible for keeping records for the club and will need to work with MS Word for meeting minutes.
6. Treasurer - The treasurer is responsible for keeping the financial records for the club in order and will need to work with MS Excel.
7. Sergeant at arms - The Sergeant at arms is responsible for starting the meeting by reading out the meeting etiquette, club mission and introducing the president in a unique way at each meeting. Also responsible for setting the meeting and putting away club items at the end like gavel, Files etc.
